The IT Capital of India went offline today. A Statewide 12-hour bandh affected normal life here and most parts of the State. Most of the IT Companies and shops remained closed. The streets were deserted, except for the stray dogs who roam the streets.
The bandh, called by Karnataka Border Agitation Committee, an umbrella body of pro-Kannada outfits on the Maharashtra-Karnataka boundary issue, began at 6 a.m. today.
